Individual Therapy
In addition to the groups mentioned, we also offer individual counseling. This applies for work with adults as well as adolescents and children. Many adults choose this form of therapy as a way to work through individual problems, gain personal coping skills, and to have the experience of working one on one with a therapist.

Our work with adolescents centers around providing a confidential and understanding environment in which personal issues can be explored. Often teens like to focus on issues related to family relationships, dating, decision making, and understanding the changes they are experiencing as they prepare to enter adulthood. This can be a confusing time as it is full of important decisions and therefore we offer therapeutic experience which includes support and healthy guidance.

Our individual work with children includes utilizing art therapy and play therapy. These approaches to therapy are used as a means of working with children who don’t yet have the language skills to express their thoughts and emotions verbally. Through the use of these other modalities, children learn how to communicate and cope with the world, utilizing age appropriate means.

Couples therapy is another form of therapy that focuses on relational or marital issues. Some couples couplechoose to utilize this form of therapy explore various premarital concerns. For others, couples counseling offers a safe environment in which married or dating couples can work out problems, find healthy ways to communicate, and create a stronger bond which may extend beyond just the two of them, but impacts their family as well.

Family therapy provides the means to bring a family together to discuss issues and relational problems. At times, this experience is the soleteengroupincircle opportunity to have the entire family together, discussing personal matters in a safe environment. Families are then able to carry over the work done in the office, into the home.

Group Therapy
Group therapy is an effective way to deepen your understanding of yourself and your relationships. It is a unique experience of joining together with others who share common goals, fears, and frustrations. In combination with the caring and supportive guidance of the therapist, group members can feel safe enough to explore their self-defeating responses to life’s losses, hurts, and pressures.

Group therapy offers you the opportunity to develop the strength to identify your needs, assert yourself, handle conflicts, and receive support. In a safe environment you can identify your stressors and how you have handled them in the past. Then you will be able to practice new skills, which can be applied to your personal life. Throughout the process, you will be challenged to grow while finding hope and validation from the group.

Group therapy can improve the way you feel about yourself, as well as with others around you. Our goal is to help you feel supported and prepared as you face the future.
