At the Family Resource Counseling Center, we offer individual counseling services for children. Our individual work with children includes utilizing art therapy and play therapy. These approaches to therapy are used as a means for working with children who don’t yet have the language skills to express their thoughts and emotions verbally. Through the use of these other modalities, children learn how to communicate and cope with the world, utilizing age appropriate means.
Infants, Children, Adolescents and Young Adults: Testing and Assessments Gain a better understanding of how your child is functioning in their cognitive, emotional and behavioral development.
